FDIC sponsors Hulu

The FDIC sponsored a clip of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Hulu. I’m kind of confused and don’t get the entire point. Is this supposed to make me want to put money in the bank? What does the FDIC get out of this? Was anybody complaining about “socialized” deposit insurance?
