Maple Syrup Festival 2009

This weekend I went up to St. Joseph, MN and visited my cousin at CSB. One of the highlights was the Maple Syrup Festival in the St. John Arboretum.

A small fire that sprayed ashes whichever direction the wind was blowing into your hot cocoa and ice cream with maple syrup.

Wood for whatever.

Collecting sap from maple trees to turn into syrup that the monks will (largely) keep to themselves.
